Angry Faic is Pretty Awesome.

So yes, this flash is very simplistic but very effective. It jolts good memories of that previous Angry Faic rant where he thrashes on rip off authors who either make another tired cliche ridden madness flick and the "My Newgrounds" fad. I would never ever steal some one elses flash. Hopefully, as soon as I learn to draw figures well with a mouse, and color properly, I will release a flash and will not have to feel so guilty writing these reviews.

Buy a pen tablet, works much better. And hopefully you'll get better then me:P

So Some Cat Fetishist is Trying To Kill Herself.

...Can't really blame her...

What confuses me is how she manages to survive getting squashed by a refrigerator, and not from a shot from a bullet through the head. Unless, she is invincible to both bullet and refrigerator. If that is the case, then why the hell is she trying to kill herself anyway? Why did she not perform hara-kiri? That stuff is hella tight and it leaves a big mess for everyone!(Remember emos, it's not down the lane, it's not across the street, it through your stomach!) Why is this cartoon bothering me anyway? It's cute, it's frentic, and it's sexy( if you're emo).

Most of the animation in here is tweens. Now I perfer frame-by-frame animation, but the tweens here work nicely since the artwork is pretty tight enough... I still prefer frame-by-frame though.

Although this animation is primarily focusing on the slapstick attempts of the cat-girl to kill herself in a normal fashion. Its humor lies within the joke/references strewn about. The Kirby music is in sych with this flash's chaotic yet cute appeal. The scene where a bathtub falls from the ceiling containing some Konata and Koga yuri was a nice touch. It is a good way to appeal to the emo demographic of the Newgrounds crowd. After all, they seem depressed, but that is only a side effect from horniness. And nothing satisfies their bleeding hearts more then a dose of Lucky Star cheerleader love.
But back to the cartoon, there is then a scene where the airhead is trying to cook herself, and then that hell of a stud, Solid Snake sneakily discards his cigarette into the gas-operated stove, and the stove explodes in that girl's face!

...Then, after trying to kill herself so long, she is dying in a hospital bed all teary eyed fashion. She reads a note by herself that encourages her to stay alive(I think). Then she dies for good(I think).
Then it all ends with a Azumanga Dai-OH! end card.

So anyway, it was good. Animation was tweeny, but the direction was standard. If you are into random slapstick craziness in your dish of kawaii, give this flash a try...

If This is Not The Best Music Vid of the Year...

...Then it might as well be a candidate,

My favorite part was the scene with that guy running and jumping from building to building. That was such a cool loop! He was trying to dodge that missle, yet, it eventually caught up with him. It fabulous really.

Rig responds:

Silly man. When will he learn that you can't outrun Catoblepas? :D
Thanks for the review!

This Was A Good Tribute.

You certainly are a true madness fan. You remembered all the cool and random things that the original madness shorts were all about. Seriously, I was sure everybody forgot about the marshmallow.

Before the series turned into a gun-toting action shoot-out, it was originally just about those guys being shot into a giant marshmallow via cannon(marshmallow "madness" was the original title. Did I mention how I liked how the author implemented frame-by-frame animation into this work and thus, did not follow the typical social norm in madness short making? I feel tired from all those other shorts who just motion tween, and practically copy Krinkel's work without being inventive. This author is not norm, and I like that. The author singlehandedly shows the evolution of the shorts as new and iconic characters get implemented into the series. Everyone should remember how the second short introduced the wacky techno music, and the concept of every character(including Jesus) beating each other up. Then along comes that scary clown, and the zombies, and what can I say? The movements are just fun to look at. Of course, it all ends with the classic ending of everone dancing, and dancing forever. At least, till Krinkels churns out another new idea.

That Was a Crappy Short.

Yeah, that sums it all up.

It Was Irelevant and Unexpected.

...Yet l loved the joke at the end. Take that planet Earth!

Good, Good Work...

Sure, the animation was cheap, but art style was cool. I like the colors, I like the cute sizes, and I like the abandonment of outlines. The classic 50's style music gives this a Ren & Stimpy Show feel. Let me tell ya, you never know where you gonna go when bite into that apple.

That Parking Warden Was Pretty Hardcore Man...

Each person was consecutively funny, and the Shaolin Monk guy was a riot with his little chi blast. Nicely done. Although it isn't as funny as some other stuff I have seen, it was harmless and cute enough to put a smile on my face.

It Is a Little Bit Of A Mess...

The first scene is rather put together poorly because it seems to try to make a zoom in shot but I can see mummy feet underneath
the frame. All I can say is this mummy and this punk got in one little swordfight and their mom got scared and said you're moving with your auntie and your unle in Bel Air!

Wow...Just...Wow!

This has got to be the most "high budget amateur madness movie" ever. It has the coregraphic and cinematic action flair you see from movies like Karas, and there is alot of stuff to look at. A lot of stuff happening at once. The story is probably a simplistic excuse for "groundbreaking" action sequences, yet it is hidden underneath all this cool techno junk and DMC inspired gunplay. However, this "masterpiece" has the basic design and animation techinques of an over excessive tweening, 14-year old, NG noob. I'm talking about the madness models, this movie prominently features them. Only they are given complex, dark, gritty, stylish, and glowy redesigns. There is even an anime chick madness model redesign! I mean, what the heck, the author is obviously a male and is probably "lonely". It almost feels like this movie was made by a Wachowski brother possessed by the spirit of an 14-year old NGer. Joking aside, this movie is pretty entertaining. Again, if you guys were expecting a serious hand drawn action bliss, you are going to be dissapointed, but not so much. This move, although sort of juvenile in nature, is a feast for the eyes, and might give some serious artists some inspiration.(I mean, I thought the "chainsaw sword" was pretty rad!)

Abuse it for good, never for evil.
