Meowsers!

This is great stuff. It has backgrounds, fluid animation, sophisticated direction, and wild housecats fighting over their turf. The animation is practically on par with the traditional animation you might see in Avatar: The Last Airbender, or some 90's era animated feature, which considering the usual entries you might see on this site(Motion Tweens, Lazy Artist stuff, etc.) is something extremely rare indeed. My only problem with it is that it ends rather abruptly and loops with no replay button feature.

God Damn, I Wish Captain N Was This Cool...

You sir, are the greatest, most splendid Marty Sue in all of video land! You get all the cool items and gear from all the other games, with none of the defects!
My favorite part was when you used the bionic grapling hook onto one of those floaty item containing things in the Contra level.
What a ride. The movie throws so many references and looks so close to actual the games, that I wish I was playing it!

Say. Who's Spigot?

Just wanted to know who you're lampooning in your spam entry and what this beatnik fellow did to you guys.

Also, Space Harrier FTW!

Macbeth: A Shakespherean Classic In Every Way.

It is a classic story about one's fall from grace. A tale of an ordinary good soldier going down the path of the dark side. It's a must.
Anyway, your animation was pretty good. I hope you have it in you to do the whole story.

I am actually wanting to finish this, probably by next week I'll have the full version

Oooooooh So Hard!

On one hand, this flash took only a little bit of effort to make...
It's just a sprite of Metal Slug's Taarna going lolololololololololol.
With a flashing colorful background.

Then again... It's only 628.2 KB...
And it gave me a medal...
And called me a winner...
And at least the music's nice and relaxing...

Ah what the hell, I'll give it a 2!

Nice Job Clock.

That was a sweet music vid. Plus, I happen to love Katamari too.

We Should Make A Salad Sometime

Granted, it was a tad cliche in the whole "Hero must save girl premise," but the downer ending masterfully subverts that. I don't know why that tomato had to take up so much time overdosing on heroine, alcohol, and cigs when he could have been training that whole time in the first place so that he might be able to rescue the Carrot Cutie before she got cut up. Also I don't wanna sound like some PTA retard, but I question the "E" rating caused if I remember correctly, the fight ended with the guy one the floor with a knife sticking out in the back of his head next to read puddle that's either blood or tomato juice. Now granted, I do enjoy implied violence and getting crap past the radar, but the position of the knife I think jacks up the rating to "T." It's definitely not "M" material certainly, but I think you could imply extreme violence better if show the knife stained with red liquid to the side rather then being stuck in the back of his neck. Because your scene blatantly told us the human ended up stabbing himself as he slashed the tomato. Whereas if leave knife by the side, it implies either he knocked himself out and the red liquid is just tomato juice, or that he did slash himself and the liquid is both blood and tomato juice. However, the final fight scene was masterfully done and was a good payoff. I'm glad how the animation gets progressively better right up to the point where it peaks during the fight. That was some good finesse. Great Job.

Also "Chained Apart" as in "Food Chain." Durr hurr hurr.

That's "One Half" Base Times Height Thank You.

I really like this short you have here. The art does have have this sort of "minimalistic" feel to it, but the animation quality and use of different perspectives, and the facial features make it very charming. I notice the guy has like a pink body and blue arms. Anything special about that or to it? Just wondering, he's a fine character. I like how you express his love for mathematics in the way he sees angles in the grass and a circumference in the sun. The funny thing is that mathematicians are stereotypically "indoors" kind of people, but this guy gets interested in the outdoors when he starts seeing the things he is studying in nature.

Will you make a sequel called A Squared Plus B Squared Equals C Squared?

MorrowDays responds:

I didn't say it was a triangle mr. :)
I just like that color scheme for characters.. I've used it before as well. There isn't anything really significant about it.

A sequel? Perhapps. We'll see.
thanks for the review

Boy, Do I Love Student Films...

I wish Newgrounds was more like Liquid Television, in the sense that it would consist of mature sensible 14 year old prodigies who put time and effort into their individual projects devoted to original content covering a wide variety of genres more often rather than a cesspool of 14 year old noobs sending in wave after wave of the same karate fighting stick man movie.

Sadly it's only like that 10% of the time... The other 90% is stick men, or a hackneyed parody...

Anyway, I'll think twice the next time I think before dropping another quarter into one of those vending machines!

Galneda responds:

It's as the saying goes; if you look for it you'll find it. The kid that did Pigpen stands out among the Explosms and Sprite Flashes...glad you found mine!

Thanks for the review!

Ahhhh... Dat Face!

What would we be without Dan Paladin and Cyanide & Happiness?

Abuse it for good, never for evil.
