A Test Eh? Well...

Okay, so you you've got your scenic background... Good.
You have a little alligator peering out from the river beneath the bridge. Nice.
Those "gray" bars could use some work as the river is over lapping the bottom one. Plus they should be black. They are, after all, widescreen bars used for a cinematic effect.

But most all, make something happen when you're done with the finished product.

The End...

That was a pretty good short for a first timer. In fact, it was pretty awesome in my view! It was well animated, skillfully drawn, keenly painted, and most of all, it had a shocking ending not for the faint of hearts.

You might wanna consider maybe changing that T rating to an M rating, cause that was quite a mess of Elfen Lied proportions!
Remember, T rated blood and violence comes in pint sizes, or green, or bloodless carnage with black etchings ala Princess Mononoke... Then again, there's always the question of vaguely humanoid people ala Metal Slug where the carnage can be higher than Mortal Kombat yet still earn a T because the characters are so small.

i was thinking on it, but it was just a scene plus it zoom out fast enough for people to not see it clearly....but yeah, it was quite a mess lol.

thx for the review Alter.

Um A Little Suggestion...

Will you make the worm grow bigger as it eats smaller prey? That was the only thing missing from the previous game.

Man...How Does Mario Manage To Do It?

That thing would scare me in real life! (Although I thought its baby was rather kawaii^_^!)

LOL Irony.

He can't wait to get out of school so that he can play...SCHOOL!

Kinda reminds me of my youth where I would come home from school to watch Nickelodeon... And what would I see you ask? Shows about SCHOOL! (Doug, Hey Arnold, Invader Zim, a couple All That Sketches, etc. (I could mention Welcome Back Freshman, and YCDTOTV, But that's waaaaaay back).

I could also mention Disney's One Saturday Morning Block. A block on ABC that ran every Saturday featuring cartoons...ABOUT SCHOOL!!! I mean school is just like the Vietnam War, it just can't escape you.

Anyway, this flash is good by technical aspects too. You don't normally see much effort put into Joke flashes like this. You gave every character an individual look, you had backgrounds and different scenes showcasing different angles, and the animation was on par too.

And seriously Persona 4 looks like a cool game because at least you earn knowledge points for getting answers correct RPG style(of course you can actually sort of do that in real life..But you can't open up a stat window to see them though!)

school is topical. "hai gais, isn't school smelly and stupid?!?!"

"ZOMG, I can relate to that!"

i was planning on getting this one done in 3 or 4 days, but it ended up taking 8 weeks. it's all the FBF work. most of it was done on paper, initially. trial and error.

thanks for the 9.

I'm in 3-D!!! Whoa, whoa, WHOOOOOOOOOAAAAAA!!!!!

....Or at least, that what this animation TEST felt like. I admit it was sorta nostalgic in way that 90's CGI is so primative & obvious because it was a revolutionary field of animation back then. But that was then, and this is NOW.

A Very Good Short.

This short used minimized animation, but it was nicely painted and still managed to grab my attention. That track at the beginning fit the imagery very well. That other track was good too. There were no VAs, but I came up with my own melancholic voices for narration purposes. I think I spotted an error where there was a "There" instead of a "The." It was somewhere in the bar scene I think. Nontheless, it was good. But I think the best part about the movie, was the message. The one about how mankind is more evil than Vampires, Werewolves, and Demons combined.

Y'know...

You're a pretty good animator y'know. More stick death animators should take your example. Usually when I see stick fights, they are always done from the same side view angle with same kind of little faceless sticks. This on the other hand takes influence from a couple anime fight scenes, and successfully mimics that animation style to an extent. The fight was observed from many different and interesting angles. This is so that it isn't boring. That, and I see at least some effort was put into the speed lines, the animation quality(varied a bit, but pretty impressive), and little into the destructible environment. Of course it VERY rough. It wasn't in color, and it was just a fight. Not really the pinnacle of Flash, but at least a good sign that someone in this sea of Madness ripoffs, Spam, Tweens, and poor art is trying and very determined. Overall, good job. The only thing that could be done to improve this is story and an artistic revamp. Speaking of artistic revamp, ever been to Posemaniacs? Pm me and I can send ya a link!

Hey man thanks. Literally saw this a decade later. Thank you lol.

Abuse it for good, never for evil.
