....

Don't fret boy, the King of Pop will rise from his grave!

Y'see, by December 23, 2012, the dead will walk the earth! And guess who will lead them? And yes, it will be just like in the Thriller video.

...Plus Duke Nukem Forever will be released by then too!

CYCLOKAT responds:

oooook

That's Pretty Funny.

Do another one! Maybe somebody like Ayn Rand next. Or you know, classic Aristotle. Or the disregard for classic morality with Fredrich Nietzche. This flash is not only fun but a bit educational too!

MasterLock responds:

A double win!

This Is great Animation of Will Vinton Quality.

Ten times... no.... A bajillion times better than Knox. The expressions, life like movements, that crazy walk. How long did it take to make this?

RWappin responds:

Just the animating part took about 10-12 hours. Counting making the characters and props, a lot more.

Recommended For Earthbound and Smash Fans...

Normally when I see VG parodies, they're usually made with not a lot of effort put into them. This on the other hand was rather decently animated and fun to watch. There are also a couple of parts that make fun of scenes from Earthbound. Other people who are not fans of Earthbound don't have to be familiar with the title in order to enjoy it. All what really happens is that Sonic and Ness cross over and race against one another. There a lot unexpected parts in between what seems to be a normal race. I like how they play rock paper scissors between the bout. It has a feel that is very reminiscent of old Felix the Cat cartoons. I mean the really old ones. Like the ones made in the 30's. Basically the main character encounters a main plot and goes along with(In this case a race with Sonic) and encounters mainly interesting characters with slapstick and gags based on encounters with each character(Bumping into character and losing a key, Ness emptying his shoes to find a detective hat in order to find said key, Ness falling into a trash can, Donkey Kong picking up Ness by the feet to punch Ness and sequentially gets frightened by the ghost in the trash can, etc). There was also quite a number of in jokes as well. Like who was that tied up girl in the circus? Really, I'd like to know.

Rock-Candy responds:

The tied up girl is just a character I made up a long time ago.

I'm glad that you liked it.

That Was Actually Pretty Cool!

That alligator walk was super smooth and it was shaded and everything! Overall, this animation shows competence in the field of art and animation. I don't know if it is as competent in the art of storytelling though. I mean, I don't think I got to see that guy wrestle with the alligator.

Revelation-Six responds:

Hey, thanks for the comment. Glad you liked the animation. Again, this wasn't meant to tell a story. The assignment for the class was an introduction / teaser scene. I might go further with this in the future, but my object was to showcase my animation. Thanks again for the comment. -- John

Mission Complete.

April Fools was like 5 days ago RTIL silly boy. Well guys, it looks like RTIL has switched back into the gears of shameless spammery. Anyway the theme was Chinese communism, not North Korean communism. Although I think some Korean themed flashes might have been welcomed nonetheless. Anyway the smiling little chubby guy in case if any of you guys are wondering is Kim Jong Il, leader and god figure of North Korea, and son of former leader and god figure Kim Il Sung. Kim Il Jong is also the main target lampooned in Team America: World Police. He is a basically a little person who watches Daffy Duck and Chicago Bulls videos in between masturbating to obscure pornography. Don't laugh. He could kill you guys with a snap of his fingers... and make it painfully slow. Be afraid, be VERY afraid...
Anyway, I rather like the music in this spam, who did it? Is it some sort of jazzed up commie anthem or what?

xtil responds:

I have been part of the North Korean state long before Newgrounds submitted to socialist paradise !

I will send you to the bean field !

Now Come On You Little Lock...

April Fools jokes are fun, besides, I was still able to vote on those couple "government approved" flashes to increase my EXp count so it wasn't all that bad for me. I just considered it a quick day. Some of that far east stuff they approved was actually rather cool (except the spammery that was annoying, but in a funny ockish sort of way). Newgrounds is great and all, but it only 1/6 of my adult life, so I can handle a one day shut down, and consider it an opportunity to do something else(like work on that flash I've spend my spare time on, or you know, homework). Anyway this April Fools joke opened my eyes to other peoples problems. It must be tough for people who can't taste the wonderful community NG has to offer because they are living under an oppressive government. That said, I just want to say capitalism rocks(or you know, freedom in general).

LeafLock responds:

viva la resistance!

(also, i agree about shutting down now and then. much like the china theme i was revolting against..this is a joke :P)

Well...

...The author took something bad, and made it worse!

lordofsquad responds:

Lulz.

Now That's Clever!

Sure, sure, this movie may not have the best graphics per say, but I certainly found more funny and well-written than those "shape" movies. Let me make a list the two things that I enjoyed most about this pseudo trailer.

First, I loved the premise. You were basically parodying the Disney idea of "a little thing with big hopes and dreams". In this case, the letter "y", who dreams to be a vowel. The whole premise is based on the old teaching principles of vowels in the English language: "A, E, I, O, U, and sometimes, y".

Second, I liked the little gags you have strewn about. While not exactly subtle they are quite unexpected and catch you off guard. For instance, Y's friends consist of the letters "t" and "r". They fulfil the role as helper buddies, and together they form the word "try". Then there is the scene where to letters sword fight using exclamation points. The genius behind this gag isn't just the fact that you tilted their angle making them look like a hand wield a sword, but also the fact that exclamation points create interjections and intensify the volume of dialogue. Like this! The way you parodied the "surrounded by a bunch of ninjas cliche" was pretty sharp too. I mean, using Japanese kanji, oh boy what will you think of next. You really should work for Disney. At least, as a story writer.

Bottom line, it is not one of those soap opera shape movies, so give it a "try"!

The-Super-Flash-Bros responds:

thankyou.

What Genius.

This flash shows an out line of an obstacle course and the different ways one can pass through it. Certainly, I found it to be quite fun. To any viewers out there, I suggest to give this flash a try, and at least sit around till the end. There was a lot of charm and a little humor too. By the way, I see mathematical formula at the top of the screen, what relevance does it have to the obstacle course and it's design?

trul responds:

calculus equations are the background atmosphere of the obstacle course creator.
At the end there is scene from calculus lecture.

Abuse it for good, never for evil.
