Can Anyone Say "Almost"?

Yes, I complement you on your artwork, and presentation. The Picture you show me is unnerving pic of a young man in an undershirt holding someone bleeding heart in his hand with twisted smirk on his face. Not for the "faint of heart". Previous turd entries often have these habits of showing hilariously bad artwork, crappy dubbing, crappy sound quality and juxtoposed photo pics. Usually the tirade ends with Piclownjew screaming in my ears. The reason why it gets a turd? Because its a still picture, and the only people wowed by still pictures are usually those silly clock people. However, still pictures like these are not necessarily the animated movies which people come to this site for, however this file would be welcomed at a Deviantart page

Sir-CannabisClock responds:

I see. I can welcome your criticizm.

However, few things I must say:

It's a young lady, with sharp teeth holding the bleeding hard. Double check the chest area.

I agree with the usual tirade comment, with the exeption I fid it funny.

And it probably would, but it would have no music and be a lesser quality. Besides, I'm a ng guy, not into that deviant art stuff.

Rave-tastistic!

All those beautiful multi-colored lights, and such comic book inspired action. Cities which seem to be made out of bristling neon lights. It throttles the imagination with a futuristic tokyo raver paradise. Please sir, as an artist I want to know more about the details that went into making this film. Please tell me how you made such beautiful multi-colored light FX.

Weird, but it was Cool!

I must say I enjoyed the graphics and animation of this film, as well as the cgi bit. Yet, I can not figure what the plot was all about. P.S. I noticed the piece you used was from Rockstar's masterpiece, Bully. Its the theme song of the preppies. Good game isnt it?

Amongst The Cruddy Graphics Is a Decent Storyline.

Usually I am one of those people who go to this site for thrill inducing animation. I aspire to be one the amazing animators on this site. However, there is an individual in our society that is overlooked. That would be the story writer. To be honest, the graphics were pure sewage. The visuals were remenscent of extremely early NG quality stuff made from flash 5 paint tools. The results are bland and very juxtoposized images. Yet I gave this entry a chance and discovered a very bizarre post-apocalyptic tale of cops and cultists with a strong, hard political overtone. As sat through this entry, it got to this weird spiritual segment with John Wayne, who was actually the devil. I was thinking. "What kind of mind thinks this up? A very different mind that for sure!" Although the graphics were telling me "Blam this, it has terrible sound loops and looks like crud". I still had the instinct to read this storyline. To me it looked like a spam entry, but it did not feel like a spam entry. And man it WAS long, but I did not care. I wanted to watch through this movie and vote fairly. At the end there is a message to the NG public that summarizes the author's main message on authority. He tells how we have voted purely based on visuals sound and flashy anime effects. I mean check out Vinnie's work Hoy te Amo; it has amazing hand drawn animation, but no story whatsoever. Check out all the Madness films; limbless figures beating each other up. Look at Legendary Frog; He resorts to stealing simpsons jokes for a plot. Look at Illwillpress; He resorts to having a little cartoon squirell complain about things in a high-pitched voice. Look at Knox; He resorts to having his half-@$$ed clay creations do retarded things. Look at the Star Syndicate and Piconjers; they complain about Knox, Illwillpress, and LF for their lack of artistry, and yet most of their skills are based on funny portal spammery antics and digitally beating their satire subjects, sometimes through full hand drawn animated glory(it is not very plot based mind you). Not to mention, the Clocks, Locks, and Glocks can only make original stories based on previous portal antics. It is an epidemic. Most of us look at a movie and blam or save it mainly for points. Never before, has entry caused so much dilemia within my sanity. For that, I dare to say that I have voted 5 on this entry, and yet I give to the author critique on his artwork and flimsy sound. The 5 is for the overall message this unfortunate piece of likely portal fodder has brought onto me. I am deeply grateful for this message. I encourage the author to work on his artistry skills. Of course if he needs an artist someday, it might be me. Perhaps we might cross paths and collaberate on something in the future. Once again I pray for the salvation of this entry.

Isledeavarice responds:

Wow, people actually get this one. My "August Underground" stuff, almost no one understands that stuff. This one, even though its far more complex is understood by quite a lot of people.

I think its because I made it clear, right from the title, what kind of a movie this was. I was originally gonna call it "stump the cops" - but something told me to call it "long movie with a plot". I guessed right.

Good to see some feedback on this stuff.

I think that if it wasn't for the "blam points" system, there would be stuff on this site that told an actual story AND had great animation. The blam point system makes people just vote 0 or 5 without even watching it to the end to get more voting power.
It should be scrapped.

Again thanks for a 'real' review of one of my movies.

O-h-m-y-g-o-d-I-m-o-n-f-i-r-e- !

A musical that was on fire! Thats genius, and I like the way lyrics distance us from the horror.

XxwaSSupxX responds:

Everyone likes music and everyone likes fire! What more could you ask for?

Okay, but keep in mind...

Newgrounds is no place for "unfinished shorts". If you have a short that is a little too short. Find a bunch of other artists and form a collab with them. Or you can just finnish what youstarted.
Now on the otherhand this fight was superb and very DBZ esque. With a curious furry twist.

countconkula responds:

Truthfully, this was halfway an experiment, just to see if Newgrounds would like something like this (Dendyn Dynasties did good, so I guess they should). I should've put this on the Alphas section, but.......anyways yeah, xD, it'll be really good once its completely finished, so I hopes you see it.

I am Wowed. "Norse" Sufff Dude!

I did not expect that much at first, but I was blown away. Aside from a few tweens, this toon is not animated like most other flash toons. In fact, some of the animation in this looked almost good when compared to real television series. It could definately become a memorable primetime action series (like Aeon Flux). Please tell me, where you learned to animate such detailed figures like that, and make it look so authentic?
P.S. I must know, I currently have an idea for an sci-fi action sci-fi series in the works, but I need help learning how to animate stuff like that in flash.

Those Poor Flowers, How Sad.

That was a very moving flash. Those flowers did not have a chance at all, yet I rooted for them. I thought the huffing twist was funny.
By the way, since when did flowers have nukes.

Newgrounds Needs More Entries Like This.

A Very serene, and calm flim. Puts my mind at ease after seeing too many madness films and stick figure violence.

Listen Up.

1. This is not Youtube.
2. You are not Jesus.
3. If you want to send a slide show tribute to Jesus, Youtube is the place to go.

Abuse it for good, never for evil.
