Taste the Rainbow

The rainbow flame that extend from her wings. hoofs, and hair look absolutely luscious. It channels a little Lisa Frank, but little more subdued on saccharine colors. It's like encountering Rainbow Dash in a more serious high fantasy novel rather than a saturday morning cartoon. One issue though I have with this piece would be the face. It looks too human. It makes her look more like sphinx rather than a pegasus pony. My suggestion would have been to make the face more like a realistic horse. I'm saying with a portruding, long, face and snout. I know it would sacrifice some of the "cuteness" that original more regular design evokes since all those ponies have shorter snouts anyway, but it would fit your style( which
is taking anime-ish designs and giving them realistic western illustration makeovers) a little more.

I feel like Nester/Lark would be a more suitable candidate for Smash than Robin since he's more of more of a vital part of Nintendo history than she is. Nester/Lark after all, was the star of Nintendo Power comics, and even had his own virtual boy game, and he can be considered the unoffical protagonist of Pilotwings 64 anyway.
